This is an aggregate of over twenty five individual undergraduate scholarship programs (with various criteria) are awarded based on academic achievement at the College of Natural Sciences, University of Massachusetts Amherst. The scholarships cover Science-related, Environmental or Agricultural Sciences courses.
The are two major groups in the scholarships:

GROUP 1 MAJORS
There are 15 different scholarship programs under this group.
They include: Scholarships under this group include: Arvo “Pop” Aho Memorial Scholarship Fund, Ascension Farm School Fund, Robert Burrell Memorial Scholarship, George M. and Edith H. Codding Scholarship, Fred Farwell Family Memorial Scholarship, J.D.W. French Scholarship, Non-Traditional Scholars Opportunity Fund, Stanley Jez Scholarship, Robert McGorum Scholarship, Albert and Helen Meserve Scholarship, New York Farmers Scholarship, Porter L. Newton Scholarship, Henry B. Peirson Memorial Scholarship, Frank Plumb Scholarship, and Robert H. and Patricia A. Ruf Scholarship Fund.
Eligible courses under Group 1:
Animal Science, Building & Construction Technology, Earth Systems, Environmental Science, Food Science, Geography, Geology, Natural Resources Conservation, Plant, Soil, and Insect Sciences, Pre-Veterinary, Sustainable Food & Farming, Sustainable Horticulture, Turfgrass Science & Management, Stockbridge School of Agriculture AS majors.

There are 12 different scholarship programs under this group.
